Patient-Friendly Surgery Center For Specialty Care
When a surgical procedure is the appropriate treatment option, we offer our patients convenient, comfortable and comprehensive services designed to deliver the highest quality of patient care.
At Summit, we take a conservative approach to care; we treat orthopedic conditions non-surgically whenever appropriate. We know that many orthopedic conditions can be managed or resolved with conservative treatments including rest, medication, and exercise.
However, if a patient does not respond to conservative treatment, we have the expertise and state-of-the-art resources to offer our patients additional treatment options, including minimally invasive procedures or surgery. When outpatient surgery is an appropriate option, our Vadnais Heights and Eagan surgery centers provide you with the most advanced surgical and rehabilitative resources, at a single location. Our centers are designed with an emphasis on your comfort, safety, and accelerated recovery.
Our same-day surgery center can manage up to 40 procedures per day, with 23-hour patient stays at the surgery center, and followed as needed by same-site full-service care suites supported by a comprehensive program of rehabilitative therapy. Our Secure Tracks physical therapy system helps patients regain mobility faster for a safe and efficient surgical recovery.
This full continuum of surgical care in a single location provides multiple patient benefits.
- As a practice grounded in sub-specialty orthopedic expertise, our medical teams are dedicated to providing quality surgical care, and the tools and information you need to recuperate, and to help prevent re-injury in the future.
- Patient convenience is paramount. Our center provides a one-stop destination for physician consultations, diagnostics, surgery, care suites, physical therapy, and bracing and orthotic needs. With recovery suites and our surgical center located on the same floor, access cannot be easier for our patients and their families.
- Our controlled and specialty-focused environment means that the risk of infection is extremely low.
- The cost of healthcare matters. As our chief executive officer, Adam Berry, explains, “Health care is more consumer-driven than ever before. We are looking at ways to be competitive in the marketplace not only with our outstanding care but also through affordability with our procedures and other offerings.” At our surgery center, the cost of orthopedic procedures, provided in a luxury environment, can be 20 to 30 percent less expensive than a hospital inpatient stay for the same surgery.”
At Summit Othopedics, we are dedicated to medical innovation, quality of care, and commitment to exceed your expectations.
