Under direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Clinic Care Supervisor coordinates and supervises day to day clinic operations site activities including, but not limited to, initial assessment of work injuries, collection of blood and urine specimens, and supporting the occupational health providers.  The Clinic Care Supervisor will partner with the Operations Manager in developing strategy for short and long-term success, employee engagement and performance, patient satisfaction, compliance and quality and clinic site operations.   


This is a full time opportunity based at the MN Occupational Health Midway campus in St. Paul, MN (can be flexible on where base location is). Scheduled day hours are Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Flexibility to travel to other MOH sites as needed.


Job Responsibilities:

  1.  Responsible for supervisory duties for the Medical Assistants, Clinic Care Assistants, and clinic based Collectors, including interview, hire, and onboard new employees; conduct performance reviews; engage, coach and address performance issues; address complaints and resolution of problems; and ensure the completion of required paperwork, records, documents, etc.

  2.  Manage the day-to-day operations, including continual process improvement activities, updating of clinical policies and procedures and perform the duties of administrative work at any clinical site as needed.

  3.  Approve and process timecards of assigned staff.

  4.  Coordinate orientation and training of new and present employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the practice’s standards for quality, quantity,   and safety.

  5.  Actively identify, participate and assist with employee engagement activities.

  6.  Work collaboratively with other leaders and departments to resolve issues, create streamlined processes and identify opportunity for improvement.

  7.  Coordinate, supervise and direct completion of special projects, as appropriate.

  8.  Responsible for documentation, processing and resolution of patient/client issues
