In 1986, Summit Orthopedics made a commitment to provide patients with the highest quality of comprehensive, multidisciplinary spine care in a respectful, timely manner. We are proud of our reputation for robust spine expertise delivered by highly trained spine specialists. Through our 2015 integration with the Institute for Low Back and Neck Care, we added decades of additional certified expertise to our spine team. This partnership advances our mission to deepen our back, neck, and spine resources, and to make our services available at more locations than ever to provide the highest quality of integrated spine care at a clinic that is convenient to you.
Our spine team consists of 12 spine specialists working in comprehensive collaborative teams at clinic and ancillary care locations across the East Metro and in downtown St. Paul. With convenient locations and expanded services underway for 2016, you can be confident that your care is our foremost priority.
At Summit, we emphasize a conservative approach and proactive preventative steps that will most effectively return you to the activities you love and prevent back pain from recurring. Our services and expertise have been developed to treat back pain with the goal of reducing or resolving pain while restoring function. Our care is designed to provide interventional spine treatment; we do not have the specialized services to treat patients who require long-term narcotic medications. However, we are happy to refer chronic pain patients to a chronic pain clinic that offers behavioral experts and narcotics management.
Our focus is on restoring you to the highest level of wellness through conservative treatment and preventative therapy when possible, or through a surgical procedure when that approach will provide the best results. You can always be confident that our spine team is committed to the needs of you and your family at every step of treatment.
