Active Older Adults

This six-week program is about having fun and moving to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength and endurance, improve balance, increase range of motion and enable you to continue to perform activities for daily living. Hand-held weights and elastic bands with handles are offered for resistance. Agility ladders, cones, and other performance equipment may also be used. A chair can be used for seated or standing support.

Winter session 1: January 8 – February 12                          Tuesdays – 9:15-10:00AM

Winter session 2: February 26 – April 2                                Tuesdays – 9:15-10:00AM

Cost: $30

Location: Summit Orthopedics at HealthEast Sports Center, Healthy and Active Center (2nd floor)
