A Summit top is required apparel during the event. If you do not have one, please email marketingdept@summitortho.com. Jeans are allowed, but should not have any holes or rips. Please wear comfortable shoes that allow you to stand for your entire shift. Your shoes should be clean and in good condition. If the weather conditions require extra clothing, please select items that do not contain excessive printing on front or back.

Professional Conduct

It is important that you arrive on time and stay for your entire volunteer shift. Limit your cell phone use to emergencies only. To avoid work interruptions, employees are not permitted to bring their children when they are working at an outreach event. Overall, appear approachable and engage with the crowd. Take advantage of the collateral that is available to you, and use the booth when needed/appropriate.

Compensation

You will be paid via a "Thank-You Bonus" from the marketing department and therefore should not record the hours worked at an event on your timecard. All volunteer hours worked will be submitted to payroll by marketing. The "Thank-You Bonus" will be listed on your pay statement in UltiPro as a line item under the "Earning" section.
