Our shared values
We are built around shared values—these values are core to who we are and how we provide care to you.
Our care begins and ends with prevention. Though our blog, Facebook, QUICKGuides, quizzes and the events we sponsor in our community, we serve as educators to help equip you with the information you need to avoid injury. And if you do become injured, our therapists and specialists will not only guide your rehabilitation, they will also give you the tools and information you need to help prevent re-injury in the future.
The Summit approach to care is based on multidisciplinary teams working together to benefit you. Each of our physicians personally selects a group of individuals including certified physician assistants, certified athletic trainers, and care coordinators in a comprehensive approach that extends beyond diagnosis, treatment, and surgical services to include wellness screening, coordinated therapy and bracing. Our dedicated teams are the foundation of our care. Together, we take a unified approach to coordinating the services that will support you in achieving your goals.
Summit Orthopedics is committed to providing you and your family with quality care every time. This commitment to excellence is reflected in our ongoing quality initiatives, satisfaction surveys and evaluations of processes and procedures.
Our orthopedic experts are available to serve you at multiple locations throughout the east metro, but our definition of community service isn’t confined to providing care within clinic walls. We are out and about in the community, conducting seminars and lunch n’ learns, volunteering medical services at local athletic events, and more. And of course, you can always find Summit’s healthcare tips and information online at Facebook, Twitter, and here at our Summit Orthopedics website. Whether you need to address an immediate injury, a long-term medical issue, or are simply seeking information to help you stay active and healthy, Summit is here.
Summit Orthopedics offers a conservative approach to the treatment of orthopedic conditions whenever appropriate. Many, if not most, orthopedic conditions can be managed or resolved with conservative treatments including rest, medication, and exercise. If a condition does not respond within the prescribed period of time, we can consider additional treatment options that may include minimally invasive procedures or surgery.
A healthy lifestyle requires a commitment to making good decisions. Whether you are maintaining a healthy diet, finding ways to stay safely active, or listening to your body when you feel fatigued or sore, Summit is here to provide knowledge, answer questions, and offer guidance. Our resources are designed to empower you to achieve your goals.
