Quality Measures at Orthopedic Care

• Upper Extremity: Evaluation of return to work, sports, arts or normal life activities after carpal tunnel release surgery.
• General Orthopedics: Evaluation of quality of life and functionality before total joint replacement (knee and hip) and 90 days post-operative.
• Clinical: Evaluation of the patient experience.

Quality Measures in Ambulatory Surgical Care
Vadnais Heights Surgery Center and Landmark Surgery Center continue to meet and exceed appropriate infection control standards and report lower infection rates relative to the national average.

Landmark Surgery Center has maintained continuous state licensure and Medicare/Medicaid certification since opening its door in 1995. The Joint Commission accreditation was attained in April of 2007.

Vadnais Heights Surgery Center obtained state licensure upon opening its doors in February 2014. The Joint Commission accreditation and Medicare/Medicaid certification was attained in March of 2014.

Plymouth Surgery Center: The Joint Commission accreditation and Medicare/Medicaid certification was attained in 2016.

Eagan Surgery Center: The Joint Commission accreditation and Medicare/Medicaid certification was attained in 2017.

Nationally recognized advanced surgical care

Summit’s Vadnais Heights Surgery Center was recently awarded The Joint Commission’s Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Total Knee Replacement.
