Finding Purpose in Giving Back
In 2008, with the support of retired leaders from Summit Orthopedics, Dr. Peter Daly (retired Summit surgeon), and his wife, LuLu, helped open a 5,000-square-foot surgery center at the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos orphanage in Honduras. Since the founding of the Holy Family Surgery Center, nearly one-third of Summit Orthopedics physicians, along with many healthcare professionals and staff, have volunteered their time and expertise through medical missions and global healthcare outreach.
Summit Orthopedics also offers a scholarship program that helps cover travel and participation expenses, allowing team members to take part in international medical missions and volunteer healthcare opportunities.
