Employees who are scheduled to work at least 24 hours per week (or have a 0.6–1.0 FTE appointment) receive a comprehensive Total Rewards package. This includes health insurance, compensation, retirement benefits, life and disability coverage, paid time off, recognition programs, and well-being resources. Health insurance coverage begins on the first day of the month following your start date.
Paid time off (PTO) is available to employees working 20 or more hours per week and accrues based on your length of service and hours worked, up to a maximum of 80 hours per pay period. In addition to PTO, eligible employees receive 8 hours annually for Well-Being or Volunteer Time Off, as well as 8 paid holidays each year.
Summit offers a 401(k) plan to all employees, with automatic enrollment at 6% starting the month after hire and flexible contribution changes. In your first year, Summit matches 50% of contributions up to 4% of eligible pay. The plan may also include discretionary profit sharing based on company performance, with eligibility after one year of service (1,000 hours), age 18+, and active employment at year-end (exceptions apply for retirees).
