Under the direct supervision of the Reimbursement Manager, the Receipt Entry Specialist will be responsible for self-pay payment posting, collection agency payment posting and third party payment posting.
This position is a full-time opportunity based at our Corporate Office in Woodbury. Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (subject to change)
Follow established guidelines to post third party and patient payments into the appropriate accounts.
Balance payment batches on a daily basis according to established protocol.
Post NSF returned checks to accounts.
Generate and review unallocated report and reallocate funds.
Secondary claim generation.
Forward accounts that need follow up by the Insurance Collector based on established protocols.
Maintain strict confidentiality in all dealings related to patients, physicians, accounts, fellow employees and the organization.
Provide assistance to other work teams as requested.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Required: High School
- Preferred: Previous medical receipt entry experience in a Business Office setting is preferred.
