Pre-op Call
You should be receiving a call within the next 2 days from a surgical center nurse regarding your arrival time for surgery. During this call, you will want to discuss any medication, metal or latex allergies with the nurse. If you do not receive this call, please contact your surgical facility.
Reminders:
- You will need someone to stay with you and drive you home following your procedure.
- Please do not bring children to the surgery center.
- Please remember to leave all of your jewelry/valuables at home.
- Bring your ID and insurance card.
- Do not shave the surgical area for 48 hours prior to surgery.
- Shower with antibacterial soap (or other washes as instructed by your provider).
- No lotion to surgical site/limb.
- Stop all remaining use of nicotine, tobacco, and alcohol products which can interfere with your ability to have a complete and healthy recovery.
