Prior to my appointment with Dr. Probst, I had x-rays taken a few days earlier of my left hip area, where I was experiencing considerable pain. After doing a very thorough examination of which movements in that area caused me pain, he ordered another set of x-rays to be taken on site. I was surprised because he had in his hand x-rays of my left hip area taken only a few days ago. The x-rays he ordered, however, were of my lower lumber spinal area. He explained the results of these x-rays In detail, showing the lower back bone spurs and facet arthritis I had, and how these were causing the pain I was experiencing, not problems with my hip socket. I was very relieved, as the physical therapy he ordered for me sure beat the prospect of hip surgery! I was very grateful for his expertise in diagnosing the actual cause of my pain, and how well he explained to me in detail what the new x-rays showed. I was also impressed by his overall professionalism and the positive way he related to me.
