The field of orthotics covers any device (support, brace or splint) used to support, align, prevent, or correct the function of movable parts of the body. The most common types of orthotics dispensed at Summit include: custom and non-custom knee braces for sports related injuries and osteoarthritis, post-operative (knee, hip, spinal and shoulder) braces, custom and prefabricated spinal braces, fracture braces, custom foot orthotics, shoe modifications, static progressive stretching splints, and Charcot Restraint Orthotic Walker Boots.

Meet Reed Williams, M.D.
Reed C. Williams, M.D., M.B.S., R.M.S.K., is a physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) physician specializing in nonoperative sports, musculoskeletal, and diagnostic and interventional ultrasound medicine at Summit Orthopedics. He takes his role as a patient advocate, educator, and physician very seriously. He strongly believes that the art of medicine is just as important as the science behind it.
