We want you to feel as comfortable as possible. Having a family member or friend at your side it a great way to put you at ease. That person can stay with you up until you are wheeled back into the operating room, and in most cases, as soon as you become awake and more aware of your surroundings, that person can join you again in your private Phase II recovery room.
