Minnesota Monthly Magazine Names Seven Summit Physicians Among Their 2017 Top Doctors

Each year, Minnesota Monthly surveys 10,000 licensed Minnesota doctors to learn which doctors they would trust to care for their loved ones. The most frequently selected physicians comprise the magazine’s 2017 list of Best Doctors in the Twin Cities. We are proud to have seven Summit orthopedic specialists included in the 2017 top doctors list.

Dr. Robert Anderson

Dr. Anderson’s specialties reflect his upper extremity focus. He is recognized for his expertise in treating complex elbow reconstructions, work- and sports-related arm injuries, and arthroscopic surgery. As a proud Minnesota native, Dr. Anderson uses his knowledge of our state’s culture to relate to his patients. He is proud of his reputation for providing care characterized by compassion and excellence.

Dr. Amy Beacom

Dr. Beacom’s specialties include sports medicine; treatment of the shoulder, ankle, foot, and knee; running and swimming. Her dedication to treating orthopedic injuries related to running and swimming is reflected in her service as a team physician for USA Swimming. She takes great pleasure in helping her patients maintain and reclaim a healthy, active life.  

Dr. Paul Donahue

Dr. Donahue’s specialties include overuse-, sports-, and work-related injures and microsurgery. This is his sixth Top Doctor recognition in the Twin Cities. His patients value his prompt, caring, and competent care. When counseling patients, he emphasizes the importance of moving as much as their bodies will comfortably allow.

Dr. LT Donovan

Dr. Donovan is a hand surgeon specializing in elbow, wrist, hand, arthritis, repetitive motion trauma, and sports injuries. He is passionate about treating his patients as individuals with unique goals and aspirations—and is known for providing exacting care with a reassuring sense of humor.

Dr. Michael Forseth

Dr. Forseth’s specialties include hand, wrist, and elbow, complex reconstructive surgery of upper extremities, and microsurgery. In addition to serving our Twin Cities community, Dr. Forseth has volunteered his medical services in Haiti, Colombia, and Honduras.

Dr. Edward Su

Dr. Su is a fellowship-trained hand surgeon specializing in sports-related injuries and reconstructive and endoscopic surgery. His patients value him for his focused expertise and compassionate care. Dr. Su understands the important role our hands play in interacting with the world, and is dedicated to supporting an active and pain-free lifestyle for his patients.

Dr. Andrew Thomas

Dr. Thomas is a fellowship-trained hand surgeon who studied upper extremity treatments in the United States, Switzerland, and Germany. He specializes in reconstructive surgery and the restoration of function following stroke and cerebral palsy. He and his staff are committed to kind and respectful treatment of each patient.
