Summit is now offering community education seminars at our Healthy + Active Center at HealthEast Sports Center. You’ll be able to listen to Summit experts share useful tips and information on how to improve your health and well-being, and ask questions to build your knowledge around many areas of health and wellness.
Exercise On-The-Go
Keep your health and fitness goals a priority by incorporating exercise on-the-go! This free community education session will teach you how to incorporate strength training anytime, anywhere just by using your body weight or resistance bands – no additional gym equipment needed! Resistance bands will be provided for demonstration purposes only, so come try them out and see just how versatile they are.

Pain Management Workshop
Chronic pain is a major problem in the United States. 1 in 3 adults suffer from chronic pain. In this educational session with certified pain specialist, Shayli Scaletta, DPT, you will learn how pain works, what causes chronic pain and ways to prevent or manage pain.

Wellness Walks
Join us to learn about a health and wellness topic and then take a walk! Presentations will take place in the Summit Orthopedics Healthy and Active Center located on the 2nd floor of HESC. Weather permitting, walks will take place outdoors. During inclement weather, walks will take place inside of the HESC field house.
